the story of my lund

i have frequently alluded to a comment in this yoga teachers interview mentioning that he is looking for the prosperous India on the lines which existed before Alexanders invasion and it was strange to notice that Alexanders war with Persia is seen as a major turning point in the history of India (according to "the story of India")
it seems to bring about a closure to the old Indian tribalism and an advent of a nation bigger then what exist today (although not by Alexander himself but the idea he represented...finally in reality boundaries are based on ground realities atleast in nations existing since before industrialization) , the ancient wisdom though seems to come from an era before maurya, lost then in the insensitive caste based society (or rather the fact that big societies would in all probabilities be comprised of individual less attuned to the spiritual rhythm and these also would be the societies which would have a say over matters effecting everyone) which then went through the identity crisis we face today and came up with its messiahs to fill the void....as we do today. And from this point onwards it looses its charm to me coz its falls in a regular pattern
i do not see the progress of religion as progress of mankind rather i am more inclined to believe the contrary.
